In your original e-mail you request one, so yes. In the future you may want to consider getting available documents/tapes, etc., reviewing them and then if you feel that there is a violation submit a request for a formal IA investigation.

Thank you. Does that mean that your office will be conducting an internal affair investigation?

I will check with Capt. Martin. Is Bleechington your client?

occurred or did not occurred after force was used. I was under the impression that the client needed to be

medically cleared after using the tazer multiple times. However, in my client's case, I was called by an

inmate and had to be the one calling and reporting to the jail that he was unresponsive. It was not until we

called that someone checked on him. I have more details of the event but I am emailing you from Court.

issue right now. I will talk to my client as soon as I get a chance and will have someone get back with you.

Thank you for your response.

>    As a followup, I would like to know what the complaint is in regards to this matter. We don't routinely

conduct an IA unless there is an allegation of misconduct. Just because force was used, doesn't

automatically trigger an investigation. I need some specific information that you may have been provided

which is indicative that the actions were potentially in violation of policy.
