Please find below a copy of your letter to Ms Hepburn. Ms Hepburn never requested that you search all files associated with Mr Fuchs. This is not what she is seeking and she is not willing to be nickled and dimmed to death. She is not willing to pay for the search of all files. You indicate that a search was performe of Mr Fuchs computer for the name steven Bradley and no documents were found. I do not believe that such search is adequate. Therefore on behalf of Ms Hepburn and in response to the letter you sent to her below we would make a 119 records request to inspect the received and sent groupwise folder for Mr Fuchs from April 1, 2006 to December 31,2006.
Sincerely,
Anabelle Dias

Re: Public Records Act Request - via email 10/11/08 at 12:20 a.m.
on behalf of Kathryn Hepburn
Dear Ms. Dias:
On October 11, 2008, you sent a public records request to our office via email at 12:20 a.m., on behalf of Kathryn Hepburn. Our understanding of the request you have made is as follows:
1. Any records of John Fuchs in reference to Deputy Steven Bradley IA, termination, suspension, resignation, separation from the LCSO from March 1, 2006 to present.
A search of the email and computer records of John Fuchs has been conducted. The cost due for this search is $9.60, as it took fifteen minutes. There were no materials located using the search terms “Steven Bradley” and “Stephen Bradley” and “Steve Bradley”.
At this time we are prepared to commence the search of his physical files that were assigned to him during the time period of March 1, 2006 to present, to complete the public records request made by yourself on behalf of Ms. Hepburn. This will be a very time consuming search of files and records in both Leon and Jefferson Counties. As Steven Bradley was employed in Leon County, we will begin our search of files here. As documents become available, we will notify you and Ms. Hepburn so that you can inspect them at a mutually convenient time. The deposit required to commence this search is $250.00. The hourly costs associated with this search will be $38.40 per hour for computer search time, and $23.08 per hour for file examination time. There will also be a charge of $50.00 per hour for the attorney to review the file to redact all exempt material. As the deposit is depleted, we will communicate with you regarding the additional deposit that is due to continue the records search.
I look forward to receipt of the $9.60 due for work already completed, and the deposit of $250.00 to commence the search of case files.
Sincerely,
WILLIAM N. MEGGS
